Preparing your rental house for an exit inspection can be stressful.  Residential rentals require the exiting tenant to have carpets professionally cleaned.

Usually the carpet clean is the last thing to do before handing the keys back.  We recommend these tips to help you have a simple handover to the real estate.

• Book your exit cleans early
• Let us know straight away when your leave date is so we can schedule you in – if your carpets aren’t done by the handover date, you may incur extra costs from the real estate
• If you are booking a bond cleaner, ensure you leave time for the carpet cleaner to come in AFTER they have cleaned.
• If you are cleaning yourself, complete all the cleaning prior to the carpets being done.
• Do not walk through rooms once the carpets are done as we will lift the pile as we clean.
• We will leave your house clean, there will be no need to re-mop any tiles, as we will leave other areas as we find them.
• Leave the carpets to the very last day and then return the keys to the agent with our receipt once we are done.
